Folks, I sprung up from an acorn about the time the park was first opening, so I'm well acquainted with its fine facilities and excellent amenities. First off, you'll enjoy some real "country peace and quiet" just 40 miles southwest of downtown St. Louis, Missouri, near the Washington Wine Country!

Camping Recreation near St. Louis

There are a lot of recreation opportunities for the whole family to enjoy here at Pin Oak Creek, including:

Swimming Pool

Enjoy a refreshing dip in the 20' x 40' pool. (I'd join you, but I prefer to keep my "feet" on the ground.) The pool ranges from 3' to 8' in depth, so kids and adults alike can enjoy the swimming fun.

Fishing Lake

If your taste in water sports involves a rod and reel, you'll love casting a line into the recently expanded onsite fishing lake for bass, catfish, crappie and bluegill. If you catch a big Missouri fish, try to get a picture before you let it go and the front office will hang it on the bulletin board.

Minigolf Course

I just love watching the campers as they putt their way to fun through the campground's minigolf course.

Playground

Your "saplings" will have a ball at the playground (and I'll be happy because that means they won't be climbing on me). The little campers will enjoy 3 slides, a moving bridge, swings and more. You'll enjoy the cool shade as you watch the young ones play a game of tetherball.

Activities Calendar From kid crafts to themed parties, fishing tournaments, live entertainment, and holiday celebrations, the family fun runs from May through October!

And More Family Fun, Outdoors and In! Work on your volleyball serve, pitch a few horseshoes and, well, shuffle on the shuffleboard court. Come inside to enjoy the video arcade and activity room.
